Thank you for considering Willmott Park Primary School for your child's education.

OUR VISION

The vision of Willmott Park Primary School is to create an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment in which every child can learn, explore, and thrive. Students reach their full potential when they are happy, healthy, and safe, and all members of our community are welcome participants in our school. We acknowledge that student wellbeing is intrinsically linked to student learning outcomes and that our approach must emerge from that understanding.

Willmott Park Primary Strategic Plan 2021 - 2025

WILLMOTT PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ZONE

Our school zone is determined by the Department and based on distance from other schools.  Students who reside within the designated boundary area are eligible for enrolment at the school. The Department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School Zones.
To check if you are in the Willmott Park Primary School Zone, please use this link www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au

PLACEMENT POLICY

The DET website outlines the guidance used by schools to determine permanent residence, that supports the application of the Placement Policy and provides fair and consistent information for schools to assist in the verification of a student’s permanent residential address.

For the most up to date information, please see this link

EVIDENCE OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE

Parents who wish to enrol their child/children at Willmott Park Primary School need to demonstrate that the child/children to be enrolled reside within the designated neighbourhood boundary area. Current proof of residency at the address indicated must be provided by way of the following:
  • Primary source: a current lease agreement or a contract of sale agreement and
  • Secondary source: electoral enrolment confirmation, council rates notices, other official documentation that demonstrates permanent residency at that address such as a driver’s license or health care card or utility bills.
  • The Enrolment Policy of the school will take account of all the requirements of laws relating to discrimination equal opportunity, privacy and immunisation.

We have an on-site Deaf Facility that provides access to comprehensive mainstream education for primary aged Deaf and hard of hearing students in the northern outer suburbs.
